Gotta luv the Northeast, for the past two days every vert has the top down, motorcycles all over the place. The clocks get turned ahead this weekend, the snow is almost gone, the robbins showed up two days ago, the daffodils are sticking their heads up, everything will get washed down in a couple of days. I'm ready .

Funny. Yesterday I had a stressful day at work. Afterwards I walked outside. It felt like 60 degrees. I walked over to my Vette (all nice and clean from a weekend wash). Started her up, Van Halen came on the radio. Thought to myself I'll take the long way home for a nice "spirited" ride with the windows down and VH blaring.
Got to the first light and an old lady in a Taurus got in front of me and decided to go the exact same way as me about 20 mph under the speed limit the whole way home.

Had mine out the last 2 days! Took a trip to L.I. to get something yesterday..
Today just a local cruise to the dealer to get my gas cap replaced under warranty! Now a good washing is in order...Hmm.. Not yet. Still enjoying the cruising!!!!!

Hell yeah! "We don need no stinking winter" (in my best Keeler Bees accent.) Had the C6Z out over the weekend, and the C5 vert today for gas and a shakedown, and can't describe just how medicinal these cars can be to me after the winter and few anxious months spent here recently. God bless the Corvettes and the people who buy/drive them!

Yesterday afternoon I drove the IROC-Z over to see Chuck at CoW in Westchester to find out how things were progressing on my 35th Anna's engine rebuild. She's nearing completion and weather was warm enough so I popped the T's for the drive home. About 1/2 way back to Rockalnd, on the Saw Mill, the radiator went out ending my "perfect" day...

I would love to be able to pull my car out and drive it. The only problem is that AUTO BUFFS has it for at least another month.
