Looking for someone on Long Island who specializes in wheel road rash. The previous owner hit a curb and caused a small rash on the wheel. Can this be buffed out ? Pls let me if you know of anyone that does this type of work. Tks,
If it's a small section & not too deep, you can proably buff it out yourself with a polishing wheel on a hand drill & some automotive polishing compound. Real issue though is whether the wheel is out of round. Best is to spin it on a balancing machine to check.....if you take the wheel off yourself & take it to a tire shop, they would probably spin it for you for just a couple of bucks or no charge at all.

I just put on new tires so the wheel is balanced. I will try to buff it out myself. Tks again.
