The inside scuttlebutt is that is a done deal, as I work for a major Baltimore based company that is already designing the marketing campaign and events in and around the race weekend

What a great opportunity for all the Corvette clubs/Forum members in the region to get together for race weekend!

Martyn Thake, owner of Motorsports Consulting Services that designs race courses, said the proposed course in Baltimore is one of the best he's seen in 20 years.

Yep.....my son-in-law is Marketing Director for Izod who is primary sponsor of the IRL series.....spoke with him over the weekend & he confirmed it's a done deal. (And reminded him to send me VIP passes for Watkins Glen! )
