Probably 8:30 or 9?? let's stay on top of this and iron out the details re: eating breakfast...If we wind up with two groups, we can rendezvous by the state line somewhere easy for all. Nino and /or others; check your maps and see if thee's a spot out this way thaa=t would be good for a meet-up. We'll be driving out 55 west from Gaylordsville, Ct.
I think we'll take the Scarpelli to Telezini road course to the event and skip 84 going there. Maybe 84 home.

I wasn't really going to do the wash/wax thing but Kyle washed & waxed? Are the winners getting wine instead of trophies?

We are up for meeting at Scarpelli's by 8:45 - 9:00 AM for grub then taking the back roads to the show.

Leaving the restaurant around 10 would put us at the show around 11:30 ?

Jeff; This is the timing that could work.... If the central Ct. peeps want to eat closer to their home bases, that's fine we'll meet up in Gaylordvillle. Route 7, south of the 55 junction there's a huge parking lot, "George Washington Plaza" easy out to the 55 west kickoff route.http://maps.google.com/maps?client=f...1cCe-w&split=0

Looks like we're in for this one, just doing a little mapquest thing it appears driving time from Torrington to Gaylordsville and then to Wappingers Falls is just a little over 1 1/2hrs, about the same for 84 from Farmington to NY. So we'll meet for breakfast @ Scarpelli's and take the back roads in, maybe the highway back. Its'a gona be a nice'a ride, ciao mi bambinos!

Scarpelli's it is. We'll figure out how to get there and will be there for around 9:00. Probably a couple of us can meet up and head there together.

our vote would be for back roads to get there, highway to come home. We're game for meeting for breakfast anywhere, just let us know where and when. Maybe the group coming from our next of the woods can all meet up to drive to breakfast?

website does say there is a $5 registration fee and has something about "reservations" Dave - do you know anything more about it?

NO you do not need to pre-register.
there is a $5 registration entry fee when you arrive.

any other questions just ask.
My cousin Sergio is the one putting on the show and
my other cousin Giovanni owns the winery.

Tell Giovanni to put a few free bottles of his best wine in the yellow corvette.

Want to meet at the commuter lot in Windsor Locks on Route 159 just past the entrance to 91 South? It's just recently been paved so we won't have to deal with the potholes and gravel at the train station....OR Mapquest shows to take Route 20 to 219, 318 to 8 we could leave a little earlier and pick up some more people along the way?

It's approximately 1 hour to Torrington from Windsor Locks so we would leave at 8 or a little earlier to meet up with others.

If this works for everyone coming from this area let me know if you'll be meeting us so we don't leave without you.

As we are south of Hartford, Mary Lou and I are going straight from Middletown to Torrignton.

We will see you all at the restaurant by 9AM.
