Does anyone know if more than 1 driver can run the same car in an event? A friend said he might want to try out the challenge but his '86 isn't quite ready for the track yet and I was wondering if I could let him run my car after my runs. It'd probably only be a one-time thing, but I never actually looked into it before and have no knowledge about it whatsoever....
Yes two drivers can drive the same car, however Mackey will know if BOTH can enter eliminations... I don't think so... however I AM sure if your friend wants to make a time shot with your car during an event he can..
The problem with two drivers in the same car arises if the ladder puts YOU vs HIM.. only one can show & the other is an automatic loser.
I know last year there were two drivers in one car, but I think the rules may have been changed to allow only ONE driver to enter per car..
It was tough having two drivers in one car the last two years.
I'm not sure of the ruling on this. Click on the challenge link in my sig, the rules are there.
It is possible to have two drivers but only if you have two tech cards and use two different drivers numbers. The track really frowns on this approach, but if it is not a regular thing then they may allow it once or twice.
