I'm working damn it! Otherwise I would have went. I live in Monmouth also. I go to LBI a lot. I usually go 539 though. You can move right along and plenty of places to pass if need be also lol. Really wish I could go. Maybe next year we can hook up a group. We could meet by E.C.S. and go 539 to 72 and right onto L.B.I. Have a great time! Take some pics if you can.

Ok, the list has been updated!

They are calling for possible hail and t-storms. The rain is not my concern, the hail is! I dont want to get my Vette sandblasted so...

As of now the show is still go, and at 6:30am tomorrow if the show is postponed, we will be getting an email... If it is raining and not postponed, I am unsure if I am going to take the chance, $20 is not worth a $7k that could be necessary if it hails...

But... as of now we are go!

Well, the Beach Bums show was real nice! The weather held out and there was enough wind to keep us cool! I will get pics up soon.

Nice meeting Rick and Steve and congradulations to both of them for their nice trophies they won! Also, I finally got to meet John and his new GS (took home a trophy too!) and Mike with his collectors edition!!!

Your welcome......I went up and down every row and took a picture of every car.

I am glad the weather held up. I'm sure the people from up north hit some storms but at least it was nice for the show.

Looks like you guys had a really nice turn out; I would have loved to join you but, I had some errands to take care of before leaving on vacation tomorrow.

I was able to stop by the Smithville show while I was out; not a real big turn out and it was hotter than hell.

Congrats on winning that trophy Steve; your boy looks thrilled.

Thanx Dave.

Thrilled isn't the word....the trophy is in his room on his dresser. I think he would sleep with it if I let him.

About 100 cars, down from 140 last year...I guess the weather had something to do with it. A group from Staten Island with about 15 cars decided last minute not to make the trip. Still, a nice turnout.

Enjoy the vacation and we'll get together locally when you get back.

Get this, on the ride back, another stupid bird flew in front of the Vette... I have never hit anything in the Vette before, and today I killed 2 birds with one Vette! Maybe they are suicidal???

LMAO.......nice meeting you too.

There is another show down this way at the end of July. At the public dock Bay side in Ship Bottom, open to all cars.

http://www.shipbottom.org/2010CarShowFlyer.jpg

Last year there was around 200+ cars. Let me know.

Chris, you need a bird whistle on that ride to scare them away.

I'm glad everyone made it home safe and sound.

Naw, it will probably only happen when I go to shows because the car is extra detailed... You know how it is!

It was weird because you never see birds flying across a highway right off the ground. Im just glad there was no damage.

Chris, I already committed myself to a show on that date. I am meeting some friends there so I wont be able to do Englishtown this year.

I would like to go to the Jackson Outlet Cruise night, last Friday of the month...I heard they get over 500+ cars....but you have to get there early, like 5pm and that's the hard part for me.
