Sorry to hear. I bought my last Vette from a forum member in Utah in a similar position. Thoughts and prayers to you and your wife. I'll ask around. If you have the time it might be worth visiting some classic car shows to see if there is any interest.
I'm sure preferably you'd like to sell it retail to a good home, but have you looked into a used Corvette dealer? Its far from you but there is Conte's in Vineland, NJ. I imagine there are places closer to you. Just an option if you have a tough time selling.
That is very sad.
I'll keep my ears open for anyone looking for a car locally. I do know one guy that has been kicking around the idea of a C3, but I'm not sure how serious he is or if he is really ready to buy. What are the colors, condition, etc.? Do you have any pictures? I can pass the info along to him.
i have no pictures at this time , my computer crashed and i haven;t had the time or patince to deal with that problem ,i;m sorry ,it is orange with black leather deluxe interior, a few people have shown an interest in selling it for me but i would rather sell it myself at this time than leave it at a car sales place as it is regersted and insured at this time, but i have 5 cars at the present time all reg ,so i want to thin out the fleet
Sorry for the news. Prayers are here for your wife.
I don't know. If it was me, i'd like to have a part of her always there for me to remember. It's something I'd want to keep. I hope my son would want to keep my vette around when I pass on. Just my thoughts.
i always figured i would keep it forever but i also have a 61 that i have for over 10 years ,building that car helped me get my life in order after a mid life thing ,then i did my wifes car as a way to ease the pain after she was diagnotics with colon cancer,it was very thraputic for me but as she passes so will her car ,hopefully someone will enjoy it,also we have no childern so i cound,t see giving it to a relative

sorry to hear man. I will keep my ears open for anyone in the market. Post up in the C3's for sale section too once you get some pictures. If you need some help getting pictures, myself or maybe one of the other locals can scoot over and take some shots.
If it were me, I'd keep her Corvette a little while, at least until after the pain of losing her subcides a bit. You may decide you want to keep it. Just a thought. If not, give us the details (all options; condition, needs, etc.) and we'll spread the word.

I know just what you are going thru - in Dec they found a tumor in my perfectly healthy wife's brain - after chemo & radiation treatment the Dr's told me she wouldn't make it to June 1. i got her into a clinical trial at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and things are much better. She is alive and doing well - we just got back from a beautiful ride in our Vette over to the beach. If you need any info or names at Dana Farber please let em know - the Dr's and staff there are wonderful.
I will add you and your wife to my prayers - all the best
