First time I've heard of it on this forum, at least this year.

A google search turns up this link http://www.lakegeorge.com/event/23668/

The Adirondack Corvette club has it on their website as well http://www.adirondackcorvettes.com/

Looks to be a nice weekend here in upstate maybe a road trip on Sunday.

There's actually two major car events at Lake George this weekend (Sep 10/11/12). The Adirondack Vette Fest & the Adirondack Nationals Car show. We're headed up this morning to meet with the Vette crowd & the weather forecast is absolutely great for cruisin' around the mountains, auto-x event, bands, fireworks & even a hot air ballon festival nearby. Check out the Lake George events website....should be a great weekend.

This weekend in Lake George was absoutely CAR CRAZY! Unfortunately, my camera crapped out & I was only able to save one image. This is part of the gathering for the Vette Fest, that was held at the Roaring Brook Resort.....just 2 miles outside of town. The Adirondack Vette Club ran the event & it was a great deal at this resort. Dinner Friday evening; breakfast Saturday & both a 120 mile cruise around the Sacandaga Resevoir with a stop at the Saratoga Auto Museum (Woodies galore!) & an Auto-X at Prospect Mtn (your choice). Then dinner & a band Saturday night; breakfast & the club's car show on Sunday. In town, you had to be there to believe what was going on for the Hot Rod Nationals. Thousands of cars of every description; multiple thousands of people; bands; fireworks; vendors; whatever. Friday & Saturday night the local streets were closed & the rods cruise the town.....terrific fun. If you're looking for a club event, I would highly recommend this weekend in LG. Only thing is that you have to plan WAY ahead. Every hotel & motel was booked & I'm sure months in advance. Check out the LG events website....I'm sure there will be pictures posted. Also the Adirondack Corvette Club website....

Dave, thanks for the pic.
I never heard of this show. I would have love to have gone to help recover from my Carlisle post partum depression.
How long of a drive was it for you from Wayne?

The vette show is a nice weekend but the Adirondack Nationals is the place to spend your time if its only cars you are interested in. There was probably 1700 cars in the show and as many just cruising around town and parked on main street. Everyone is running around with open exhaust and racing gas arouma in the air.
Friday and Saturday nights is pretty wild during the parade. If you can't get your fill of hotrods, musule cars and vettes your hopeless .
