I was going to suggest this too. I got tires for my other vette through Tire Rack and saved over $200. They were shipped to a Tire Rack authorized installer, and all I had to do was drive over, and have them put them on for me. Easy as could be.
Plus, another nice thing about Tire Rack is that they have reviews of all the tires by their staff, and also reviews done by actual customers who have had the tires on their own cars. It's pretty revealing to see the comments of regular folks like us about how they feel about the tires after driving around with them for a while. It's steered me away from some tires I was sure I wanted.
i guess thats it, in the NE section, huh, thats weird, usually there would be more, aww well, i will need to see what is out their
It's a holiday weekend so people might be responding to your post on Monday or shortly thereafter.
By the way, I think your quote for more than $1900 plus installation is crazy! There are much better prices out there. I recently replaced the tires on my '05 Z51 convertible with Michelin Pilot Sports runflats, and the 4 of them were much less expensive than your quote.
Best deal i ever got was from tire rack for a set of 4 michelins pilot aprt as/zp 95y runflats....they are by far much better sounding, riding than the kuhmos i've been using and the original goodyears.
Plus they actually have a warranty on them for a vette.
Paid around $925 including shipping directly to my tire guy who then put them on

I have an 18"x19" setup on our C5 vert and love the Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals (runflats) that I've had on for a couple of years. Other owners have applauded these tires as well. Cost from Tirerack is just over $1k. Check them out.
Chuck. I went to buy michlen sport pilots a/s plus runflats they were $250 each. Resonable. I bought at a dealership and paid extra for new TPS. They installed the tires using road force balancing. What a differance over static balance. If you trust your dealership as I do, then look into it. I'm very happy with my new tires.

I just put these tires on my C6, $1060 from tire rack. I can't say enough good things about them, quiet, great ride, and most important, very sticky!
what about the Michelin pilot sport PS2 ZP, what is the actual install price, and can anyone recommend a place
I used tire rack and had them dropped shipped to one of their recommended installer shops. The shop i used had all their prices and equipment listed on tire racks web sight and there were customer reviews.
