Does anyone here have access to GMS pricing? I lost my access when my my buddy JDOGG (who helped out many people on this forum during the early C6-ZO6 days) left GM during the downturn. I'd like to see if I can get access to GMS pricing for a new Tahoe I plan to order.

I have access to the pricing, but can't get anyone else but immediate family a discount. About the only thing I could help you out with is telling you the discount I would get on a new Tahoe, and that's not much of a help for you.
Also, there's no such thing as a single GMS pricing, it varies widely based on employer and thier partnership with GM. In other words, some GMS pricing is better than other GMS pricing.
I thought GMS was for Family and "friends". They may have changed it for all I know but back when I worked for EDS and was eligible that is how it was.

They've changed it many times through-out the years. Now you have to get a code, go to the website and log on and you get all the info. But at least now the discount for me is only available to immediate family.
I've bought 4 cars off GMS pricing. Remember when it was as easy as getting the voucher and bringing it to a dealer. Not so much anymore.
You can still get it. I have no relationship with GM at all but save more than $7,000 when I bought a 2006 C6 coupe in April, 2005 (when most C6s were going for sticker) and more than $8,000 when I bought my 2009 CTS-V last October. And with the CTS-V, I also got a $5k GM discount on top of supplier pricing.
Go down to the supplier pricing tab and then price the car. With a Vette, you may do better w/o supplier pricing through certain Forum dealers. Don't know about pricing from forum dealers on a Tahoe.
If you find that supplier pricing does work for you, you can get a certificate from a GM employee. I've done it twice by going to this site
Register for the site and then go to the Employee/Customer Discussion area. Under that you'll see "Employees and the Inside." Then post a new thread that says you need a supplier pricing certificate.
The first time I did this, I got it via .pdf within 10 minutes. Second time, it was about an hour.

From the above web site.
We've created this page to make it easy for you to promote GM vehicles to your friends and family members. The information on this page is divided into two categories — Sell GM and Why GM. We've also made it convenient for you to find the latest incentives and other quick facts. Click on the links below for a wealth of GM information.
In this economy I would think they would want to sell cars to friends of friends.
Even without a GMS number you should have no issues getting at least as much as GMS off on a vette right now.
so for GMS do I search for the best deal out there and then give them my GMS, then they will give me the GMS discount on top of the deal we discussed with them? or do I just go in dealer give them my GMS number and they will give me the lowest price possible?
sefa01 so how much did you get the cts-v? 13k below msrp?
Executive Conquest GMS discount what's this? and how do you get it? any other more discounts?

On my two buys using GMS, the price was fixed (you can see it on the web site I referenced). When I bought the CTS-V last November, the GMS discount was about $7,000, I got a $5,000 GM rebate, and an extra $3,000 (off of Galves) on my trade. So I saved about $15K.
GMS pricing is now the same as GSU (supplier pricing), credit union, etc. The only difference is that you get an additional rebate (EVA) of $3000 on a Tahoe. But you must get a true GMS authorization number. The friends and family program is only a supplier discount with no additional EVA rebate.
