Default Oil Change Needed

Looking for a recommendation. Where is the best (safest) place in North Jersey ( Morris County ) for an oil change. I have heard to many horror stories to just go to any old gas station or service garage. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you capable/willing to do it yourself?

If not, why not try Ayers Chevrolet or Gearhart? I'm sure they can take care of you without issue.

If you're looking for safe, the DIY is the best way to go. If not, I can recommend Konner Chevrolet on Bloomfield Ave in W. Caldwell.... Joe Garcia is the Service Manager & Santo is his right-hand man.

I've had my cars serviced at Gearhart and Konner. Both places did the work fine, and they treated the car well. Widger, in Livingston was a whole different story. My C4 broke down ( optispark) and was towed there. They did the work, and called me to pick up the car. A WHITE C4, which was spotless when it was towed in, was returned to me covered in birdsh*t and dirt. The white interior door panels had dirt smudges on them from the mechanic. Last time I ever went there.

Do yourself a favor and bring it to a Chevy Dealer. Places like Grease Monkey etc will stand a good chance to F' it up... maybe with the wrong filter etc.........AYERS has been around forever and is closest to Rockaway. Stick with GM. btw Ive been to AYERS many times when I lived in North Jersey before I moved toward the Equator ....
