What is the fastest time you can run at e-town these days without a cage?

and also for FI do they require a fireproof jacket or anything other then the standard helmet?

a helmet

you can rent a helmet there at the track each time but its kinda

best bet is to buy your own but make sure its snell rated and check the exp. date and/or manufacture date... yes helmets have them. Typically the track will let you use 1 that is within the 5yr mark... ie: if the helmet was manuf. in 2009 you would be ok.. if it was 2006 you would be out.

thinking of joining us this season??

What makes you think you will break 11.5, there was a guy here with a s/c C6 that thought the same. I think he got in to the 16s his first day out

If you go to a track rental you don't need to worry about the 11.5 roll bar rule.

It is not easy to hook up with all that power, especially on stock tires.

The days of being able to run a non legal car at rentals is over now.

The track had to tighten up on that around here after a fatality of a driver in a non legal car last season.

Correct, that was where it happened, and was the only track around here that allowed it.

I wouldn't necessarily say nor assume that.

Yeah!!!! More cars to join us!

Get a 5 point roll bar with a driver's side swing-out for running under 11.50 with a hardtop/coupe - 13.50 for a vert.

a fire jacket - for using an aftermarket power adder.- turbo/nitrous/supercharger

and a helmet.

Come on out and play. A good time had by all.

Thanks. I have the Novi supercharger, A4 with 2800 stall and 3.42 gears. Doug dyno'd it at 498.6 rwhp. I'm not sure where to expect it to run the quarter so not sure if it would be below the 11.50 mark and require the roll bar. What do you think?

11.5 will be hard to brake with stock tires but not impossible. With drag tires for sure you can get below 11.5 . I have almost 100 HP less with stock 3.15 and stall and ran 11.6 with drag tires.
