Default Some prayers needed please!!!

Well, what can I say. My cousin gave all she had to fight this terrible disease but finally gave in and went to be with her dad and the angels! She was only 45. She was originally given around 2 years to live with the stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis. That was 14 years ago. She put up a good fight but it was her time! She is no longer suffering and is at peace. She always lit up a room with her smiles and brought happiness to many of her friends and family even though she was the one suffering so much. Rest in Peace my sweet cousin. Till we meet again!!

So sorry for your loss Mark. Its hard to lose a loved one for any reason but when they have to suffer with a debilitating disease it makes it harder for all those around.

Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time

HER JOURNEY

"Don’t think of her as gone away,
her journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrow and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much."

Mark,

This hits way too close to home for me and every time I hear of this disease touching the life of someone I know, it makes me physically ill. I am so sorry to hear of her suffering and long time battle - I know she is at peace now. My prayers go out to you and your family that you might find some kind of understanding in all this - take comfort in each other.

Barry asked that I extend his prayers and condolences for your family also.

Wishing you strength and comfort

Thanks everyone! I know she is in a better place now, but it's hard to lose someone who was so strong and kept saying she was going to beat it. She was also my confirmation sponsor, (Catholic) so she holds a special place in my heart. She is at rest now and that's all that matters!!!
