Default CT garage for pressure bleeding?

Was going to purchase the pressure bleeder kit and do this myself, but thought I'd get prices first.....want to change fluids in brake system along with the clutch fluid, and do it by pressure bleeding.....
Corvette Connection?
Corvette Center?
others?

I checked with CT Tire who are friends with the company I work for and I know the guys well there.

Alas, they do not have the pressure bleeding equipment you are looking for and don't do tranny work.

Too bad because they are a good group of car guys and I know they are Vette friendly.

Not much help but gets you back to the top anyways!

For the brakes it is an easy DIY... Just get one of these. http://www.pfyc.com/GN7013.html?Category_Code=VT (or stop over and I'll give you a hand, I have one) The only thing it doesn't get is the fluid in the ABS unit but you'd need a tech-2 to do that. I think Ray at the corvette center can do that though. Usually isn't a problem.

The clutch is a pia since the bleeder is near impossible to get to, best bet seems to be the Ranger method posted here... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...-and-cure.html

good luck - Dan

Thanks Dan...I actually have this "Ranger" method saved, was hoping some tech could do the clutch bleeder at a reasonable price.

Maybe a brake/clutch fluid change class could be put on by Steve and he can demo changing fluids in our cars

Steve, what are you looking for?

I did the " ranger method " for the clutch fluid..Which is more than sufficient since you don't track your fine Vette, unless you are concerning it.

Ray changed the brake fluid for the track, higher temp. fluid.

When my garage is done I'll do it myself. Talk to Steve Doten or Dan.

If you need a hand let me know... To The Top

As mentioned, looking for a price to change out both fluids since I am lazy and have not purchased a power/pressure bleeder....

Corvette TAX varies so much, it's unreal.. some times I have to hide the car, when getting a quote for something at my new house build. It's a fact, and I purposely set the trap tho see and yup there is a price difference in the supplier that seen the vette as opposed to the one that didn't. Sometime its substantial . And I always ask if they are a car guy, if they are the TAX isn't so bad.... ...

Steve, you really have to call around. I would pay more for experience than cheaper for someone borderline.. I think Doten is getting one and Dan has one... All in favor of a fluid day say " I "...

Have A Great Easter everyone...... .....
