I noticed there are two shows this Sunday. One by Class Glass Corvettes and the other by All American Corvette Club. has anyone attended these in the past and which was the better show? Quite a difference in price. $5 vrs $25. I don't know if price would be a factor on show quality.
Both are $25.00 the $5.00 is just a general admission price. Corvette $25.00 & Camaro $15.00, I guess there is such a thing as a Corvette tax
I did the All American show last year. It was a good show and very well run by the hosting club.
I'll probally hit it up again this year.
Anybody have input on the other?
I went to the spring GM show Class Glass put on at the Garden State Plaza and they had a good turn out. I have never been to a All American Corvette show. Someone didn't plan well or maybe they wanted to compete on the same day and in the same area. But you would think one would hurt the others turn out.
Didn't realize that Garden State was this Sunday. If the weather clears up, it's a good show. If not, the turnout definitely suffers. May make it depending on conditions. My car definitely needs a wash before that. It's been on the road quite a bit with this warm weather lately.
I just got a message that the one put on by All American Corvette Club is cancelled untill the 26th. The other one at the Paramus Auto Mall is a rain or shine.
No, No, No! The Garden State Plaza show was on May 1st.
Today's show (June 12) is at the Paramus Auto Mall, on Rt 17 in Paramus.
I thought so. Thanks.
Not a real big fan of Paramus Auto Mall. Met with that salesman "George" several years ago. Told me a vert he had was "mint". Seat looked like Shamu had been in it about 1000 times ( all crushed up). Finish looked like someone was using Scotchbrite pads to polish it. Windsheild wipers went on by themselves and we couldn't turn them off, and the exhaust rattled like crazy. Yeah, "mint". This was a car with about 20 K miles on it too. Looked at another vert at another time. Similar experience.
Then, they trashed my car, a very clean 93 coupe.
Certain things turn me off, and I don't forget. I've had very positive experiences with several other dealers. I avoid places like this.
I'm just sayin. IMPO

Went to both shows today ...one at Panera bread on route 4 in the Kohls shopping center. Its been rescheduled for I believe June 26th...and the Paramus automall show was rescheduled for Sept 18th according to the gentlemen redirecting those who came to the show...
Chance of rain this morning called off both the shows...
I had a good time travelling to both shows and afterward with my son for some father son bonding time even if both the shows were cancelled..
