Dave at ESP called this afternoon and said the car is running again. The problem was that the electrical fuel connections at the boost-a-pump had loosen up including one that was completely disconnected. He called a&a corvettes and they said that they had encountered the problem before. The solution was simple, just use loctite in the connectors. The boost-a-pump is just behind the rear wheel well on the passenger side. I guess the design for the connectors was not the best. Loctite to the rescue again.
Good to hear your running again. Is the boost-a-pump a factory item or after market?
Aftermarket. But they seem to be pretty reliable except for perhaps the connectors themselves. I guess they loosen up with the vibration of the car, which should not happen. Typically I would not use Loctite for electrical connections. But that is the bandaid approach. And perhaps the instructions should suggest the use of Loctite.
