I think I may be in need of and LS1 rebuild. See video of sound below. At first I thought may have been piston slap, although it lessens when the car warms up, it doesn't go away. The sound s while the car is in gear(drive and reverse).
After listening to the clip I'm not sure if I'd want to rebuild it especially if it has alot of miles. If you plan on keeping the car for a while I would make the investment with at least a fresh block. And yes I would definitely take it to the Vette Doctors.
