I live in CT and I was wondering if there are any places in CT where you can auto cross? I was also wondering about going out on a track. I know that at Lyme Rock you can take a class and then go out on the track with an instructor. I read all the posts on the forum about drag racing, autocrossing and track days and I would love to try any of them. I have a 96 LT4 that I am currently restoring. It's my daily driver but I would certainly love to race it. Just looking for any information. Thanks Guys
If you do go, there are two Corvette drivers that instruct with SCDA. Ask for John or Ray. Ray owns Corvette Center in Newington. I drove with both of them.
Check out my post at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/nort...3-cart-ct.html
info on CART there if you want to come race with us this sunday. Also we have 1 Lime Rock event this season and 1 at Pocono North. PM me for more info.
the local porsche club does a autocross in hartford about once a month.
check their website - think you need an invite, but that can be worked out. I'm going to try it this year....!

I'm not %100 but I know a few of my friends (CART officials) went to a Porsche Club event and were turned away because they didn't own a Porsche. In fact I know timing equipment was traded between Porsche club and CART. I also think you might be able to go to their event if you have a friend who is a member with them and are invited.
I know it is a hike from Colchester but Ft. Devens (MA) autoX courses are awesome for the Corvette. Tons and tons of room. As suggested, see Motorsportreg.

I have taken my corvette to Porsche events as a memeber and as a non-member. It will depend on the Porsche club. Some allow non-Porsche members but you may have to wait to sign up or pay an additional fee. Some events will not allow any other car even if you are a member.
