Special thanks to Ray and his team from Corvette Center as well as Steve Doten who has done some work on my C6
I just had my headers and intake installed and then we tuned it..I had already had the Bullets
Ray and his team were able to squeeze out 52hp and 47 tq out of the mods.
Overall the car feels better and more alive...No regrets ..also the sound is fantastic !!! They said it was loud..I still think its too quit...Dont know how to get it louder lol
Very professional and it was a great experience !!! also it went in the same way it came out..which is overlooked but very important..not as scratch on it.
Now I have to get to a track just once to squeeze out a good time !!!

52 hp and 47 lbs of tg from headers, intake and a tune. Nice... Were they "American Racing Headers"?
I don't know Ray, but I've known that Steve Doten guy for a few years now. He was/is a mechanic for the jets in the USAF that enable us to enjoy the freedoms we have in this country. ...God bless the USA. that is all
Congrats, those are some nice gains. I've been using Corvette Center for my local needs for the past year or so, Ray and his team are top notch. My Vette is actually on their lift right now waiting on a tranny rebuild from ECS.
I've worked with Steve Doten as well, good guy and another excellent local resource to have here in CT.
I have had them do everything from paint work to a complete LS motor build from bare block last summer by Frenchie. Its also important to me that the car come back as I brought it in - sounds simple but many shops end up scratching up the paint or worse. We are fortunate to have them close by. I agree we need to work on Ray & Phil to get them to be a forum sponsor.
Just caught this, I have never seen 52HP gained from headers and an intake, that's an impressive gain.
I am now tuning here in CT, but won't have the experience(along with anyone else here in CT) of Don Kinder, www.slowhawkperformance.com in MA
If anyone would like to check out a C5/6 with American Racing Headers, give me a call, I always stock a few C5/6 systems
I've got a 2001 Trick Flow/heads/cam/ARH car always around and Chris up in Springfield with his 2001 Z06 A&A Vortech supercharged 346(590whp/stock bottom end) may have time to show what the C5 is capable of.
Next week: 2005 C6 trans/diff upgrade, New GM C6Z06 diff with www.rkt56.com trans (2005 was the odd year using the '5 bolt' diff/trans setup)
