Default Possible Philly CheeseSteak Run?

Well, I contacted TryNkeepUp, but she hasn't gotten back to me yet so I'm guessing no one is organizing this for the summer?

Anyone have any news on this?
Should I try and organize it myself? Anyone else want to organize it?
I was hoping we could do this one weekend in July.

Last summer I tried organizing it myself it was cool, but not that many people came.

EDIT************************************ *************

Ok so it looks like this is going to be the run

I will post up an official thread later on but here it is.

I don't know who is going from new york but... if it turns out the majority of people from new york are on the south side or further out east we will meet at Bellmore train station on sunrise highway.
Also depending on if we have enough people from New Jersey who want to come we will meet up with them at the Thomas Edison Service Area on I-95.

Here is a map of the route from Bellmore train station(Option 1):
http://goo.gl/maps/AmEC
9:30pm meet at Bellmore Train Station
10:00pm-10:15pm Leave Train Station
11:00-11:30 Meet up at Thomas Edison Service Area(Southbound side obviously)
11:30-11:45 Leave Thomas Edison Service Area
12:30pm-1am Arrive at Tony Luke's for some FOOD!!!!

Here is a map of the route from American Martyrs School(Option 2):
http://goo.gl/maps/a9ON
9:30 meet at American Martyrs School Train Station
10:00pm-10:15pm Leave Train Station
11:00-11:30 Meet up at Thomas Edison Service Area(Southbound side obviously)
11:30-11:45 Leave Thomas Edison Service Area
12:30pm-1am Arrive at Tony Luke's for some FOOD!!!!

Tony Luke's is open till 2am on Friday's and Saturdays. If people feel like we wont make it in time then we will change the starting time 30 mins sooner.

FYI when I hit the Turnpike I will be driving well above the speed limit, that's the only way to make it to Philly from new york in 3 hours. I'm not saying others should drive fast but its the only way. Plus you all drive vettes that's what they do..... go fast.

LET ME KNOW GUYS IF I SHOULD MAKE ANY CHANGES!!!!! OTHERWISE THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, whoever wants to come can come.. its just living in philly you're going to miss out on the cruise down. But you can meet up with everyone at Tony Lukes

Ok how about the 27th or 28th?

I will start up a "Real" thread with the date and times we will be leaving and meeting up... along with pit stops along the way to pick up more people on the road like in Jersey... I'm basically going to be copying the route that TryNkeepUp used.

I will also post up a list of everyone that is attending in that thread.. SOUND GOOD?

How about adding one more pick up point for those of us further out in Jersey.....the Stockton Service Area....milepost 58.7 just south of exit 7 on the Tpk? Maybe leave from LI @ 9:00 & then hit Stockton around 11:30??

That would be no problem, Depending on the amount of people that come from NJ you guys will kinda decide where we meet... If NJ people would rather meet at Stockton then we can meet there instead of Thomas Edison

Also may I make a suggestion.. To get a larger amount of people, ask friends who have corvettes if they want to come... hell I really don't care if people with mustangs, pontiacs, or dodges come too.. No ricers! haha
