Subsequently, the carnage continued when the War on Terror began and far too many of our troops sacrificed life and limb in defense of our freedom. God bless those brave patriots.
God bless Gary Sinise and his foundation who, along with the Tunnel To Towers Foundation, built a custom home for triple amputee, Marine Cpl. Juan Dominguez and his wife. Charitable ventures like this one are just what we need to see, to reinforce our "Never Forget" mantra.

Just received this via email, from a friend. Need I say more about never forgetting?
NBC’s ‘Today’ Skips 9/11 Moment Of Silence For Kardashian Interview.
At 8:46 AM, in New York City and at the White House in Washington DC, there was a moment of silence to remember when the first plane hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. In New York, the NYPD, FDNY, Port Authority Police and the families of the victims were present, while in Washington the President and the First Lady led the moment.
The cable networks all carried it, with ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning” carrying it as well. The only national general news program to not carry the moment of silence was NBC’s ‘Today,” which, in an odd bit of counter-programming, opted to air an interview with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kris Jenner, who talked about the new season of the reality show, and her breast implants.

I will never forget.
Today we need to remember and reflect and mourn all those innocent lives that were lost.
All those brave men and woman who took down flight 93 so that more would not perish.
To all those that died just because they went to work.
To FDNY - NYPD - EMS Port Authority and countless others.
To the families that still suffer.
To the United States Military for fighting for our freedom.
..........and tell the ones we love we love them.
We need to always remember and NEVER FORGET!!!

I'll tell you what sucks, besides everything that was related/connected to the events and horrors of 9-11-01. Today my 15 yr old daughter came home and said that a girl in her class asked if "they were going to bomb us again?" WTF? Didn't her parents and teachers tell her the truth as to what happened and is still going on?...................................La st night my wife bought my son a shirt that is in the style of a drapped American Flag. He proudly wore it to school, and one of his azzhat, needs a kick in the throat, teacher ask's him if he was going a little overboard. NEVER FORGET, and NEVER FORGIVE.
