Looking for '66 era details Mason Chevrolet Kennett Square PA.
Rally Red 427 Convertible delivered there May, car sold June 1966.
Titled June 29, 1966
Any one from the general area remember anything about Mason Chevy,
anyone have a lead on who purchased this car?
Car was sold in 1969 (Aug 4 title) out of Reedman Motors we believe at this point.
Maybe at auction?
The reported to be in Clearfield or proximity before being purchased and taken to Selinsgrove, Sunbury Hummels Wharf Mifflinburg area.
Todd Brocius Auto Sales had the car for sale in 1973.
Looking for info on prior owners.

I live in Kennett Square currently... I would suggest contacting some of the local corvette clubs in this area..check out the Corvette Club of Northern Delaware..www.vetteclub.org//also try Keystone State Corvette Club and County Corvette Association. Members from these clubs are spread out ver this area and you might hit on someone who remembers or has details on this. I would direct your questions to the Club Presidents.

I grew up in KSQ. My parents still live there. Mason Chevrolet became Bill Luke Chevrolet. Bill Luke went out of business just before or during the last recession. Now it is a car repair/used car dealership. It's located on W. State St at Mill Rd. The old Mason Chevrolet emblem was still visible on the south side of the building. It was recently painted over. I used to deliver the Daily Local News on my paper route to Mr. Mason when I was 11. He has long since died. I am not sure how you would go about finding the information you seek. Perhaps contacting Chevrolet? You should come visit KSQ. Nice little town with lots to do and see in and near town.

I want to get out there one of these days.
Back in 2012 or so I was in contact with the Masons, they were keeping the whereabouts of one of the two brothers secret. Promised then never answered emails or phone.
Bobby Mason as I would read in his OBIT two years ago, was super nice knew everyone around and what car they had, seems like he'd ahve been the one to know.
too bad I didn't get that chance,
Chevy knows nothing.
It is going to amount to who was cruising main street Kenett Square, summer 1966 in a brand new 427 Rally Red Convertible Corvette.

How about one that had a Hard Top?
The hard top was on the car long enough to leave a very noticeable marking on the decklid, in the original lacquer.
Key dates - the car was produced end of April, delivery would have been in May....
car was titled- PA "A" title June 26,
so it either sat in Mason Chevrolet show room for over a month...
or possibly was traded for some Chevy pickups for the mushroom farms (not too far away as it was at Reedman's as a used car in 1969).
