I went there several times, and although it was a small place and not real fancy, it was fun. Yes, fun. For all those who are neck deep in 1 ten thousandth of a second time differences, and other such stuff, good for you. This place was not about pretense, it was just about simple fun. I think Doug pointed out sort of what that kind of experience was about.
The area has alot of undeveloped land,and some new building developments nearby. To be honest, maybe local residents didn't want the noise and possible polution issues. Anyway, sad to see it go.

I don't have a lot of racing experience, but a lot of what I have was there. I agree with the comments that while it wasn't the best track around, it was fun. I had my best time in my Silverado SS there. Sad to see it go.
