nitrous permit in NJ?
I know you are supposed to have a permit to carry nitrous oxide in NJ. Otherwise they can have your car towed...not :cool:
Anyone know where to get the permit or the phone# to get an application?

Get get a free, purchase & transport permit in Jersey. Write:
New Jersey Dept. of Health and Services, PO Box 369 Trenton, NJ 08625-0369

92TripleBlack, they said that they give the permits to out of state residents as well, but she didnt say if it was mandatory. Its free so just get it anyway....the number to call was 609-588-3123

what is the rule with nitrous when using it on the streets. is it ok as long as you dont speed?
Technically I dont think it's Legal to use it on the street... but if you have a big enough shot you shouldnt get caught either~! :D

Ha, I was at a show 'n shine Sat and a couple of cops were patroling the park. They come by and look at the NOS. I said "it's only for freeway on ramps officer, and I always back off at 59.9 MPH". :D They said "yeah, right" and point to my windshield where there's a sign that reads...'WILL DO BURNOUTS FOR FOOD'. I told them that sign is not entirely accurate, I do it for FREE! They laughed and walked off.....I did check my rear view mirror on the way home though. :lol:
