I have a 2012 Grand Sport coupe, 6-speed manual, that I bought last year at Kerbeck. I had trouble with the cruise control, and gave them the first shot at fixing it. They had to keep the car for almost a week. (They supplied a loaner car.) It worked for a while, then was intermittent, and now doesn't work at all.
I am going to drive the car to Florida in April, and would like to get the cruise fixed. I know "any" Chevy dealer can do warranty work, and I don't want to drive all the way to Atlantic City again.
Recently, the closest Chevy dealer to me, Superior Chevy, changed hands and is now Princeton Chevrolet. Can anyone provide feedback on their service department, how it was, or currently is? With all the horror stories we hear about bad service departments, I'd like some reassurance before I go there. Thanks in advance for any information that can be provided.
Royal Chevrolet in Bridgewater, GM sends a lot of thier problem warranty cars there that other dealers can't seem to fix. I've been using them since 99 and I'm friends with the owner.
I don't know much about Princeton (Superior) Chevrolet myself, but they do sponsor the Central Jersey Chapter of the NCRS, and hosted the Chapter's show there last fall.
Drop an email to Ed DiNapoli, he's the Chairman of Central Jersey. He worked with Superior setting up the show, and may have a contact there, or can direct you to a member familiar with Superior. Ed's email is Ed72vette@aol.com.
