HELP!! I just bought a 91 convertible and Im smelling some antifreeze in the car. At first I thought maybe the heater core but I dont have any on the floor mat or carpet. When the defroster is on I also dont have any residue on the windshield. Any ideas???? I drove the car last night over 75 miles. It did not over heat. ran cool........???????????

If you're smelling it, then it's probably leaking somewhere.
Can you get hold of a pressure tester? The kind that attatches where the radiator cap goes and then you pump it up to a desired amount of pressure.
If so, then pump it up and when it starts to drop look around for the leak.
If you can't get hold of one then you have to do it the old fashioned way with a light and some patience.

Most common area for leak is the intake,,,,,if so check the bolts mine came loose once and cause a leak.

Good Luck!
