Now, to go further with this (for those whom I haven't totally pissed of already, Not the intent) If I were able to score a much better deal on a Supercharger and installation there, hmm...., my arm could be twisted.

Corvettes at Carlsile
I'm already excited about Corvettes at Carlsile. My 65 might be ready to drive there for one day and the Tahoe for the next day to gather the goodies I purchased.

Safety Car
Was at GM and scored 1st for C6's. But overall, the show itself is pretty bad. Very few vendors. Participant judged. SAD goody bags. And did I mention very few vendors? There was a very small turnout overall too. I enjoyed myself, but this could have been mistaken for a fire company show rather than a large event like GM Nationals. Food has improved though!

GM Nationals is tradition for me from years ago when I bought my 2005 GTO... Have been there 6 years in a row now. Get to see a lot of my Mid Atlantic and further away North East friends, sit around in our "club" tent and bs/drink a few brews all day then continue the party in the hotel parking lot well into the next day. I didn't park with the corvettes this year as I have no desire to be around most Corvette owners at car shows... Chrome trinkets, tacky airbrushing etc. Yes the show was small this year, attendance was up from last year and now with the management change at Carlisle Events hopefully it will continue to grow again. I will not attend Corvettes @ Carlisle for the reasons I gave as well as the reasons stated above by others, after seeing the same car a few times I would quickly grow irritated.
Will continue to support the GM Nationals tho and hopefully some Corvette guys will start to appreciate that show for what it is.

I go every year and have a blast. I am usually there for 4 to 5 hours and go by myself. I have no desire to spend the entire day or countless days there at a time. Nor do I have to explore every square inch of the fairgrounds. But everyone enjoys it differently. I also live in Frederick, MD so it is a very easy hour drive. I noticed you live in Alabama and if I were to make the trek it would have to be for the entire weekend. Try it and judge for yourself
