Posse: update re: "Jeff"
Last night Jeff passed peacefully with his family and friends by his side. He did, however, enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving at home.
Following our small tribute to him and all our loved ones, he responded to my post on the other forum. "God, I love this place" (forum+people), cut and pasted a pic of our "Jeffstrong" sign, then posted "right click/save, misty eyes."
May you all enjoy the love of your families during this holiday season, and receive the blessings of whatever higher power you may choose to believe in.

Went to a funeral Friday and put a good college friend in the ground. Dampened my Christmas spirit.
As you get older your mortality floats before your eyes more often and you realize this is it.
Christmas is my favorite holiday by far, for many of reasons, religious and otherwise.
One of which is Santa will be sliding down my chimmney in 16 days.
I just love Christmas.

Been away and busy lately and missed your previous post and efforts at arranging a tribute ride for the fellow enthusiast you befriended on line. Reading your post that he had passed away choked me up. Sorry I couldn't make the ride, but kudos to you...you did a great thing for a guy you didn't even know. That's character, my friend.

Our Jeff is doing well, although where is the fall ride video????

The tribute ride wasn't just for him, but for everyone we know in the Posse/family/friends who battle tough times.
This other Jeff was really a special person, just reached out for some friendly support one day on a forum and ended up touching and literally improving thousands of people around the world in a very positive way. Never seen anything like it. 190 pages of responses. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all

Vic - incredible nice thing you did for Jeff and really for all of us. I was dreading your post regarding Jeffs passing. Sandy and I are proud to have been a small part of cheering him up a little.

Thanks everyone but we were all in on this. The "Posse" is one of the best groups of people I've ever had the pleasure to associate with.
