Ok, now you guys have me getting anxious. Just got my 71 down off of jack stands today, rebuilt the entire rear end over the past 6 months. Got a few small mechanical bugs to take care of then I start the interior. I'm hoping a month or two and I can start hitting some cruises. Been waiting 3 years to finally drive it farther than up and down my street.
Ironically, I took a test run down the street today and looked up the driveway of a new neighbors' house and saw a 68 or 69 Vette sitting out front. Gonna have to meet that neighbor...

ccsu show is sunday if anyone is interested... first show of the year, hopefully it will be ok, ill be there with my bike as my car is at the body shop still.

I did a 150mile run last weekend..smelled fuel and found fuel filter leaking...
The fun never ends....

Must be the season for leaks...I looked under mine a week or so ago and there was a decent puddle of oil, kinda looked like it was leaking around the fuel pump but it was hard to see. I cleaned things up, and have run it several times since and nothing. Once the interior is back in ill throw it on ramps and see what's up.
