Hi everyone, Just purchased a 1996 vette with 115,000 miles. I'm a mechanical person and like to do a lot of work myself. However I moved to new hampshire and live in an apartment... Anyone recommend a good place to work on cars around Portsmouth, NH or if anyone would like help or to team up and work on each others corvette please let me know. Sometimes it would be nice to have an extra set of eyes. Thanks, Bryan
P.S. Only been on the forum a couple of days and its great, already know I'm going to be here a lot.
Welcome to the Corvette family. Hang out here at the Forum and you'll learn a lot and get help when you need it.
You'll see another post here for the NH Gate City Corvette Club show on Sunday. Suggest check it out even if you don't enter your car. Make some connections with local NH owners.
Love the Portsmouth area. Two of my daughters attended UNH.
Hope you're new baby got some TLC for all those miles.
Welcome to the forum and New Hampshire. You should come to Corvettes and Coffee at the Pease Grill the first Saturday of every month 9:00-12:00. Last month there were 49 Corvettes ranging from a 53 to I think 6 or maybe 7 C7s. Great bunch of people. I have a 96 as well. Good luck and don't forget to wave.

Congrats on the Vette - I always liked the '96's. Which one did you buy?
Thanks, So far I really like it. Definitely not a show stopper right now but I wanted a little project to get into. Its a white coupe with grey interior LT1, Never was into convertibles so I decided to go with this one.

I recommend Vette Undercar in Salem, NH - excellent people to deal with. You can reach them at 603-479-9200. They have been taking care of me and my friend's Vettes and always do a great job, very honest and fair prices - you won't be disappointed !!
