I know, I know these thanking Cartek threads are all over the place. But I felt for all they had done for me, a post was in order. First, with only a weeks notice, they set me up with 3.90 gears, and the Cartek clutch. While doing the gear install they noticed my car was making a little more valvetrain noise than normal. And after checking things out, they noticed I had a bent pushrod. Cartek not only replaced my bent pushrod, but they replaced them all with hardened pushrods... at no charge! :eek: Then, on Friday night, on my 1st run with the clutch/gears, I wheel-hopped the car bad off the line. Well, after that run, my exhaust was loud as hell, vibrating the interior of the car. I knew I must've knocked an exhaust pipe loose, or that I could've possibly cracked my TPIS headers. I called Cartek at around 8pm, and Julio answered. He said to not run the car again, and to get to their shop as quicly as possible, as they were leaving in about an hour. I screamed down the Garden State (scaring people with my open exhaust :D) and made it to Cartek around 8:20. They threw my car right up on a lift, saw I had popped both my cat-pipes out of my Corsa X-pipe. They re-connected everything, and spot welded it so it wouldn't seperate again! I was back at the track before 9pm, and still managed to make three 11.9 passes that night! :)

Thats an amazing story Bill!

UN-REAL! you beat the hell out of the car pretty good in the CCC! VERY consistent e.t. and mph(12.0 and approx 118). Once you can hook it up solid, it's got a mid 11 MPH no problem(Sort of like mine). You've come a long way since high 12's! :D

My only question for the guys at Cartek...."When do they sleep?" :lol: :crazy: :cheers:
