Default Philly Auto show

Anyone been? Is it worth it and how much time should you allow to see the entire place? Might try to peep it before the superbowl. TIA

Default Friday

I'm going Friday. The wife loves BMW's so we should have a good time. I love new C7, but right now I don't need a car payment.

The Philly car show is usually pretty lame, at least when compared to Detroit, LA or New York.

It's okay if you want to see new cars, but Philly rarely gets any of the current concept cars. The ones they do get, are usually cars that debuted a couple years earlier, at one of the bigger shows. This year the only concept listed as being there is the Buick Avenir. Chevrolet will have a Z06 there, as well as a Z28, and Dodge is supposed to be bringing a Challenger Hellcat. I haven't been able to find out if either the 2016 CTS-V or ATS-V, will be on display?

I usually go over, only because a friend of mine is a Chevy dealer, and I get in with him for free. My favorite thing about the show, is going to the Reading Terminal afterwards, for a sandwich and a couple beers!

Agreed.

Only one BMW "M" car, 2 AMG MB's, one SRT car on a platform and no new CTS-V's or ATS-V's.

The yellow Z06 on display has the typical front end misalignment and the front end to fender to aero gap is horrid. GM, seriously?

But, the Dub's are there.

Half of the NYC show at best. If it's close to you and you have nothing to do then I'd go. Otherwise I would wait for the NY show.....

We had gone to this show each and every year in the past, but have passed it up (along with the Atlantic City show/flea since it moved from the boards to the new convention center) for about the last 8 years or so.

Default Not Again

I won't be going to the Philadelphia car show again for some time. I can go to the local dealerships to get a better look. We went Friday afternoon. Not too crowded, but just not exciting.

On a positive note, I got a great Roast Pork sandwich at the Reading Terminal.
