hi

I posted in general discussion, but was recommended to try here.
live on long island, need to datalog my 89 to get a chip burned, really dont want to, and cant afford to buy a cable for a once or twice use. does anyone have the ability to help or lend me a cable. I live in west islip

It could just be that people either do not know exactly what you need, or the ones that do are not willing to let you borrow it for a number of valid reasons.

I assume it is not just an HP Tuners OBD cable since your car is an 88.


Personally, since you are going with a modified tune, I would purchase the came so if it doesn't run right in a year you can find out why. I purchased a HP tuners cable even though I could have easily just paid a fraction to unlock my ECU because i might not be able to get to my friend/tuner in any given situation.

I am always very helpful to others when I can. was just hoping someone local with software alrwady loaded and cable could spend 10 minutes with me, datalog log it for me and email it to tuner. I always get too deep into these projects and as usual always a big learning curve. this is just gonna be a driver, don't really expect to do any more mods but I guess im buying a cable since no one has stepped up.
