"Corvettes By the Sea" - Sun., Aug. 9 - South Kingstown RI
It’s that time of year again! The Corvette Club of Rhode Island is holding its annual Corvette show on Sunday, August 9th (rain date August 16th). Again, it is being held at Marina Park in South Kingstown. This event is one of those shows that you can bring your Corvette, set up your chairs and just enjoy the people, the weather, the cars. No deep cleaning needed for this day!
CCRI has been gathering canned foods and non-perishables for several months to be given to the Rhode Island Food Bank. It reached unbelievable heights, bringing in more than 1,700 pounds of food! I have attached a recent article about CCRI’s very meaningful effort. They are continuing this project and hope to hit 2,000 pounds so are requesting that each show attendee bring a canned good or non-perishable food as part of the August 9th $15 entry fee. Let’s all help this great club reach their goal!!
I look forward to seeing many friends at this fun day!
