The time has come for me to say farewell to all the great members of the ' POSSE ', as I am all packed up and heading back to Conroe Texas in the morning. I had a great time riding with you ( thanks for the time in the passenger seat ), enjoyed your company and am looking forward to gettin' up in this part of the country again with my own vette. Great roads to cruise on. I wish each and every one of you a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
HOWWWW-DEEEY from CORN-ROW TEXAS. I got home at 10pm cst. Neither the rain nor sleet nor fog nor snow (it would have been snow if the temps were about 10 -15 degrees colder) nor the gloomy day kept me from trudging through road construction, accidents or rush hour traffic to keep my appointed task ( sound like the oath of a mailman ). When I got to Texas the speed limit increased to 75 so it was HAMMER DOWN with the cruise set on 85 and not worrying about the law hasseling with me. Besides, I was in the slow lane of 3 lanes and got passed like I was standing still. Sort of like being on the Autobahn. As ya'll know, there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed. I couldn't find anything in the house this morning to make Irish coffee so I made Canadian coffee...now i'm chillin' out.
Plan is to be up there sometime in July and play the tourist role for a couple weeks so we can all get together sometime and meet the other half.
Merry Christmas to all and it was a pleasure to meet and run the roads with ya'll.
