New wheels, x-pipe, no more bug......
Maybe now you can keep up with the Z-16
A lot more than that has been replaced.
The 2006 Z and the bug are gone.
Replaced with a 2011 velocity yellow Z06. No bugs! One of only 41 velocity yellow Z06's made in 2011.
14,000 miles now, one owner. Warranty, so no mods planned.
Will be adding black Apsis front splash guards, ACS side skirts, GM full length spoiler, ZR1 front splitter, and Corvette Racing "jake" decals.
Well John your full of surprises and cagey about it as well. I like cagey old guys...being one myself. Trading in the 06 just to get rid of a bee is extreme though...

Best of luck with it.

Bob,
I also got blue tooth, On Star, X-pipe (only year they made the Z with X pipe and just 2 cats, TR6060 transmission (2006 had T56), automatic trunk close, chrome wheels, steering wheel controls, 2 additional quarts of oil to 10.5qt, redesigned seat headrest and probably a few other minor changes. Mine is not a Carbon Edition or Z07 Package.
Only 98 Velocity Yellow Z06's made on the last 3 years of production:
Definitely loaded with technology, the extra capacity on the oil was an important change per the road racers who track their cars, the TR6060 had it's first year in the 2008 Z such as my Cooksey, definitely wants to warm up before it shifts happy, and your chrome wheel are same as mine...gotta love those spiders. You will love this upgrade John...

I can understand wanting a clean car.....but it probably would have been a little cheaper to remove the bug instead of buying another car.
I know...I know....you put a sharp pencil to paper and did a cost-benefit analysis......and whaa-laa.......'look honey, it says right here......it better to buy a new car'
