WOW! she likes the cold air!
The rain washed off the roads.....had to go burn some fuel.
No 'vettes, but saw a couple Porches and BMW's , played with an Audi R8 for a while.
145 miles of smiles
FUN IS

That's great I just dropped the Insurance Friday and hooked up the life support. Looks like the Vette will be sleeping until April.

I had bought a mint condition 60k mile mx5 in May as a winter beater but couldn't get into not driving the vette...
I've been driving my corvettes as daily drivers in the ny metro area for over a decade...
Sold the mx5 as soon as the summer was over...in one day to the first guy that came to see it...for 50 percent more than I paid for it a few months earlier...nice car but I just didn't enjoy seeing my corvette sitting in the garage...and just bought my first set of wheels and new snow tires...
I'm on my third brand new corvette...this one with 95k miles now...the difference in keeping it a garage queen during the New York winters and using it all year round is minimal and the fun factor especially with the cold air makes more sense to me.
Corvettes love cold air....I enjoy the corvette all year and have been doing so for many years...
The cars black...looks brand new both underneath and the exterior paint..
I wash it weekly even in the winter months...the high pressure sprayers keep everything nice and clean...
Every spring I hit the car with an orbital polisher and so e Adams products...
Everybody thinks the cars new even with 95k miles on my 2008 c6 z51 m6 black on black..
I just put gas in, buy new tires and do oil changes.
Sure I changed the rotors, spark plugs, wires, shocks and pads at around 50k miles but just because I was bored..
If you guys prefer to store your corvettes for the winter that's cool...I'd rather just drive it and if I get a few dollars less when I sell it...so be it...
Can't wait for the storm supposed to hit this weekend...
3 to 5 inches of snow should be nothing...any more than that and no matter what I'd own...I'd leave it in the garage.
Congrats on a long fall. I'm sure it's been fun
