Default Moving to Eastern PA!

Just though I would stop in and say hello, hopefully we have some eastern PA folks here! I am originally from Pittsburgh but have been in SE Ohio, WV, KY for the past two years for work, I was just transferred to the eastern PA / North Jersey district, and will be trying to find a place to hang my hat on the Easton/Bethlehem area. Hope to meet some forum members out that way for some vette fun! My c5:

Welcome to the neighborhood ! I live west of Allentown but I belong to the Easton Corvette Club. Stop by our cruise tomorrow night July 2nd from 5-8pm and say "hi" to me. I usually get there around 6pm. Here's a link:

Welcome to the Lehigh Valley! I'm in Nazareth which is just a little north of you. I'm not affiliated with any clubs. I'm always telling myself I want to get involved and life tends to happen. I've been to the cruise that Glen is referring to and they put on a nice event, I'd call it the classic cruise night. I would also recommend the Lehigh Valley Cars and Coffee. Its once a month at the steelstacks next to the sands casino. They get hundreds of cars of all makes and styles. Last weekend the range was a 69 Ferrari 365 that raced in the 1971 LeMans to Ford GT's to Cobra Kit cars, to old corvettes and everything in between.

I'm more into track events, I do around 5 a year. I run a C5Z for these, will be going to Summit Point in September and VIR in October.

Welcome to the neighborhood

Nice too hear there are some good events! The cars are coffee event was great in Columbus, really low key and fun but horrible in Pittsburgh imo, they set all these rules about cars and where to park, it was nuts, ypu felt like anew outcast if you were not driving a,lambo.... so I never went. I am actually back at my parents house this, weekend for the holidayear. I'll be back out into home away from home at the residence Inn on Tuesday haha. I actually was looking at a,place in Nazareth as well, the whole area seems fantastic!

Welcome to the area! You'll have to check out cars and coffee at the steel stacks on Sundays, 1000's of cars, hope you're an earlier riser!

About an hour south there is Phoenix Racing and County Corvette, either should be more than capable and familiar with your car.

ECS is maybe 2 hours away and their reputation is fantastic, I went there for my valve spring replacement and was happy with the experience.

Nothing close to home though

Distance is not a huge deal within 2-3 hours would be OK, when I was back in Pittsburgh I always brought my z cars out to rt tuning in landsdale to get tuned, their service was worth the wait.

So far I got quotes from ECS, HPA, CSP,and RPM, all except one are within a,few hundred bucks of each other, but I'm keeping my options open...still need to find a place to live yet, rental market for what I want any my price is proving challenging, I got another month of paid living in myour wonderful hotel room, but it's getting old!

Thanks for the input!
