Yeah George, the motor went on the 98, that was the second time it went. Cracked the #7 piston and block. There is a shop in there who is my tuner, he is doing the work for me replacing the motor and tune.
I bought a short block with stock crank with fly cut Weisco Pistons, compstar rods, ARP ...
Going to use old heads, cam intake and maybe take it easy on it for a while. I'm planning to tune for a mild shot of N20.
I'm retired and married now with the 98 here and the 04 at our house in Florida. If I'm here in the fall I'd like to see what it'll do at Atco. I am going to try and run a 9 sec qtr mile with the LS6 (346 Ci) NA.
Chances are that I'll be down south in November but we'll see.
