Katie's Cars & Coffee is very impressive, with lots of high dollar supercars, but it's important to arrive very early. The Jimmie Cone Cruise-In in my home town of Mount Airy is typically excellent, with more of a muscle car flavor, and at a more convenient time.

Not sure if I'll make Hunt Valley in the morning or not. Anyone doing any cruising tomorrow(Saturday)? I might head over to the Home Depot meet in Eldersburg tomorrow evening. Anyone thinking about going over there? I'm planning on driving mostly all day after I get her cleaned up in the morning.

Black C6 Z06 w/Chrome Spyder wheels if anyone sees me.

Thanks for the info on Katies. I'm in Parkville so that would be a bit of a drive.

Just got back from Hunt Valley. Placed was packed this morning. Don't think there was an empty spot on the lot.

HVHP show was great today, got there around 7:30 and there was probably 200 cars there already and I would say probably ended up with at least 1000 cars. I think there was probably 50-60 corvettes, mostly C5, C6 and C7 but did see a few C4's and older models too. Amazing what one nice day of weather can do for expanding the size of that show

Agreed. Probably the biggest turnout I've seen to date. Crazy what good weather does to the meet. I feel bad for those Iron Rooster Patrons as they were unable to find parking

I would have gone to HVHP last weekend, but I pulled my wheel off to diagnose some steering wheel shaking. Going to have to replace my tie rod.

Shame I missed it, though if you've been there before, you've probably seen mine. Green/purple chameleon wrapped.

Take a look at the first page of the following thread and let me know if you are aware of any other local cruises. I try to keep this up to date but I don't get to all the events each year. Thanks!

This is a fairly good listing of events here.

The Sunday morning one...
Place: Burtonsville Town Square, Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD
(Behind the Green Turtle/Roy Rogers Rt. 198 & 29 Burtonsville, MD)
Easily over a hundred cars every time I have been there.

This place I see almost every month as I have to drive that way a lot.
Just across the MD State Line in Central PA
Place: Markets at Shrewsbury
Again at least hundred + cars there.

Marley Station Mall: Only for classic cars, they don't let new cars into the area.

Annapolis, MD: I won't bother going there again as there is hardly any parking and regular parking is mixed in so it is nothing special at all. I went and finding parking sucked and the whole lot smelled like a dumpster. Fitting as it was next to the dumpsters for the restaurants.

I'm hoping to find more this year.
Just wanted to correct the Shrewsbury Pa totals. They get closer to 1000 cars than 100.

every Saturday morning, 0700 to 1000, in Huntvalley Md. Hundreds of all kinds of cars and lots of vettes and exotics and cars you've never seen before;it's very organized and you have to leave by 1000, so the stores can open.

Anyone going to Burtonsville C&C in the morning aka "The Holy Doughnut"? I'll be there around 8am. The weather will be nice so it should be a good turn out.

Default FINALLY Wheels are back.

Well good news and bad news. Finally got my wheels back this week. They look great but not up close. Had to get it in writing that they would redo the wheels later this year free of charge as I can see paint spurs and what appears to be probably dirt under the PVD in way too many places. RIM Doctor had sent them out to another company but are standing behind me in making sure that they get done again as they were shocked to see how poorly they did the work. Another set that they had in shop they got back from the same company were flawless. Anyhow here are my wheels and almost done with my side lighting project.

I was there that morning, with my disgustingly dirty C6Z. Got caught in the rain the night before and didn't really expect the turnout that was there. Wish I had taken the time to wash it real quick haha!

thinking about going, still watching the weather, seems every time it comes on, it is changing from rain, to showers to sunny and back to rain again, also watching for Friday since they have the show at the markets at Shrewsbury

Guys,
What time does the Hunt Valley gathering typically start?
&
What Fridays does the Shrewsbury gathering occur on?
My car is going to the shop on Thursday for a PS leak and a Transmission Flush. So I'm planning on getting out.

The last posted times that I saw for Hunt Valley were 7:30 - 11:00 AM; I've always arrived around 8:00AM and it was pretty full so I think they probably start gathering earlier than 7:30.

As for the Shrewsbury event, it's the 4th Friday of each month; it starts in the Spring and ends in October.

Happy cruising!
