Went in 1985 with the kids it was great! Went in 1993 with my newly purchased vette and parked for free for corvettes only. Show was nothing but vendors with stuff for sale. Went in 1995 roads were terrible ,thats a money pit for Carisle productions . Go one night or drive back the same day, thats only way i would go!
(parked for free corvettes only) ?? This is an all corvette show. You must be thinking of some other show. And drive to and back in 1 day, that's
10 hours of driving in 1 day.

Sounds more like he went for Spring Carlisle. The show has never been just vendors. He's confused.

Been going since 2012.
Thursday is cool. Fun to poke around as everyone rolls in and sets up.
Friday is full swing day. Cars, vendors ect and a busy day
Saturday is mobbed. Family's, vendors and parking is scarce. Depending on weather and year some start to pack it up early.
Sunday is really cleanup and remnants of the weekend.
Its become a family weekend for me. More about walking the show, checking out cars, and meeting new people. We love to hit some of the same food spots for dinner.
I'll be under a snap-on tent over at the solid axel club or down at the ZR-1 section with my brother. Looking forward to meeting some of you and checking out your rides
I usually go 2-3 days, always stuff i didnt get to see
Even if you only have one day its worth the trip and arrive early, it gets real busy on Saturday.
Safe travels

Used to be that Thursday was set up day. Now Thursday is a full show day, so everyone is setting up on Wednesday. We aren't rolling in until Thursday morning, but we have reserved parking. But Friday and Saturday are definitely the busiest days. IF the weather is good. If it rains, it can be pretty empty.

I registered for the $75 fun field. It said please order before July 24, but still let me place order? I will call Monday, but wanted to know if ordering late just meant I would have to pick up pass down there instead of having it mailed?

You'll pick it up at the office outside Gate 3.

Let us know if you want to go to dinner with us and we will bump the reservations, very casual!
We usually hang outside at the hotel each night after dinner for drinks, cigars, BS, etc!
As the Posse always rolls, join us for what you want and not for what you don't!
