Paint Body work Southern New England
All,
A good friend of mine recently inherited a 62 327 4-speed, and dropped a big chunk of change at Corvette Center, making it safe to drive. Now he and his wife are ready to have it stripped and repainted. Any recommendations for a Southern New England shop that will do a top notch job?

A good friend of mine owns a shop in Worcester. He's worked on my car and actually did a ghost flame REVOVAL for another forum member. He's done many other show cars and daily drivers too.

I'm not sure if this is considered Southern New England or not, but my car was done at 2nd Generation Automotive Restorations in Walpole. I plan on sending my 62' up there as well and I'm located in Maryland.

Ron Bunnell, owner of Ron's Restoration in Fichburg, MA is known all over the country for being the very best with older Corvettes. I work for Corvette Mike New England, and we recommend him constantly.

Idk what you’re looking for as far as “ southern New England but you can always check out my shop in Bridgeport ct. black horse garage. I am the coach works director there. We do mainly Ferrari/ Lamborghini/ Aston Martin etc etc etc but I have done classic vettes in my time including a 62 fuelie that was originally Briggs cunnighams which is now owned by his grandson. I’ve won best in show and best in class awards at all of the major concours shows around the country including pebble beach, the quail, Monticello etc etc etc. couple of videos about me and my work

If you want a concours paint job: Kevin Mackay, Corvette Repair, Inc, Valley Stream, NY. They are located on. Long Island, about 8 miles west of JFK Airport. Had my 1967 black/black 435 roadster, 1969 black/black L89 (435 hp aluminum head) coupe, and my 1968 IMSA Trans Am roadster race car, done there. All have won numerous significant awards and been invited to top Concours events. Plus, Kevin is very easy to talk with, not often found even when someone has the technical knowledge and skills.
