If you haven't registered for Kerbeck's 15th Annual Toys for Tots Corvette Caravan, what are you waiting for? It's definitely not the weather forecast!
With 2 days still to go, we are already at our biggest registration in the past 5 years and the list is growing hourly! With a washout of many shows in the Northeast last week, this is a chance to get out and enjoy your Corvette before we start to see foul weather start to move in. This year, we will be giving away 10 Celebrity Choice Trophies as well as trophies for Olderst Corvette, Highest Mile Corvette and Club with the most Corvettes in attendance.
Also this year, we have the Corvette Racing Simulators provided by Corvette Racing along with their display trailer. We again welcome the Blitz Band and our food includes selections from Sack O Subs, The Baltimore Grill, Mister Softie Ice Cream and Philadelphia Soft Pretzels!
As in years past, Corvettes from all over will meet this Saturday morning (September 29th) at the Farley Plaza Rest Area on the Atlantic City Expressway (mile marker 20). At 11:00 AM, our celebrity judges will begin walking around to pick out their favorite car. If your car is selected as a Celebrity Choice, you'll be notified there and receive your trophy later in the day.
At noon, we will be lead by the Atlantic City Police Motorcycle Patrol Team down the 20 mile stretch to the Bader Field Airport in Atlantic City (across from the Kerbeck Corvette showroom). The road WILL NOT be closed and you must obey all traffic laws and are responsible for the tolls.
Once we get to Atlantic City, you will be greeted by the Marine Corp Reserve League and the Kerbeck Santa Girls who will be collecting the toys. All attendees will also get a commemorative dash plaque as well as 2 raffle tickets for door prizes.
You will be able to buy additional tickets for door prizes as well as tickets for a chance to win a 2-Day Corvette Driving School at Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain or a set of Scrape Armor Premium Skid Plates (for 2014 -2019 Stingray or Z51 Corvettes).
We will also have a shuttle service running back and forth from Bader Field to the showroom for those who wish to visit and we'll have coffee and deserts served there.
All we ask is that you register at https://kerbeck.com/toysfortots/ and that you bring one (or more) new, unwrapped and unopened toy and, if your toy requires batteries, that you tape the batteries to the box. We also ask that any posts made on social media about the event use the #KerbeckT4T hashmark so we can all share the memories together.
