No Ct Posse - Harkness Cruise/Picnic
Hi everyone, thinking about scheduling another cruise/picnic to Harkness Memorial Park, New London. It's been a few years since we've done this and everyone seemed to enjoy the outing. Considering a Sunday in June, 1st, 8th or 15th. Back roads scenic ride down, pack a picnic lunch, and enjoy the scenery and company. Maybe play a little bocce, fly a kite, toss a frisbee, whatever you like. This may be a good opportunity for everyone to get together as after July vacations etc. kick in.
Please let me know if you're interested and what date works best. Will go with the choice best for all and obviously will be weather dependent. I'll take care of route planning, details to follow, let me know!
(By the way, we've all paid via our registrations for the Passport to Parks so admission is "Free", ha.)

Well I had good intentions but evidently can't read a calendar. Let's make it the 2nd, 9th or 16th as I work Saturdays! Or you can go without us!!

We'll be away on the 2nd and likely recovering on the 9th as we'll be flying in from a trip in the wee hours of the morning. 16th is Fathers Day so likely have some family event I don't even know about yet. Busy early part of the month but open later if things change.

We'll skip this Sunday, cloudy, poss thunderstorms..... looks like the 9th or perhaps the 23rd. Didn't realize about Fathers Day the 16th, will decide based on weather as we get closer.

Unfortunately despite the good forecast WE can't make it this Sunday!! At this point with Fathers Day coming up we'll shoot for the end of the month or later this summer, sorry all for now.
