With the physical DMV offices shut down due to Coronavirus is there any way to transfer a car title and get a new registration ? I know that you can renew existing registrations online, but I do not see any way of getting a new title/registration that way.
Being a fellow New Jerseyan who also had a MVC issue requiring an in-person visit before the shut down, I feel your "pain;" but seriously, I think the service you need done is one that has always had to be done in-person...even before the current state of affairs with COVID19.

Yep, they actually emailed me back this morning. They are "closed" until mid April, but I doubt this will clear up by then.
I live in Sea Girt and they and the nearby towns were really forced to shut down the boardwalks because there were just too many people out and about on them. About a week ago I took a ride along the ocean and when I got to Belmar it looked like a midsummer day! You couldn't buy a parking place along the street and the boardwalk was packed. Even some of the quick food/ice cream/snack spots were open with lines. The situation just made it necessary to shut it all down. However, a couple of towns still have open access points to get on to the beach itself, but no one is allowed on the boardwalks. I guess they figure there's more room to spread out if people want to walk on the beach sand.
