Upcoming Snowstorm
Okay it's kinda like an event.
I've never driven a rear-wheel-drive vehicle in the snow before, and the 'Vette is the only car I have. This winter should be interesting. :( :jester

You'll be suprised at how well the Vette handles in the snow.

Just be smart, BTW We won't see any snow that we'd have to worry about until February.

Re: Upcoming Snowstorm (Feenix566)
Tires make all the difference; if you don't have lots of tread depth consider a set of all season types now.
After the first snowfall get some practice in a deserted parking lot so you "feel" how the car responds. With good tires you will be surprised how she behaves in light snow.
And as advised, take it easy; let the SUV drivers populate the ditches.
If you get a realy heavy snow fall, wait till the plows clear the roadway.

How've you been Eric?
In 2000 when the car was painted, I almost went postal letting it sit there like it was in some kind of museum. That process is NOT for me. I think the engine and all the polished goodies will be ok if I keep after it.
You and that stripe :D Won't let up will you  :jester TTYL

Re: Upcoming Snowstorm (Feenix566)
Try your best to keep your winter driving from becoming an event. Sounds like time to buy a beater for the bad days. :yesnod:

Re: Upcoming Snowstorm (lostsoulny)
2 car discount? for some reason, I get a 2 car penalty. it raises my insurance about $1300/year.
:mad NJ Insurance :mad :mad :mad
[edit] I just called up my insurance agent. It would cost me an extra $800 / year to insure a second vehicle.
