Imsa racing changes
More news from IMSA. Locations have moved. The Watkins Glen race is now on Sept. 6 at the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. The Limerock race is now October 9-10 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

All these races being cancelled this year is frustrating. We're supposed to be at The Glen for the vintage race the weekend following the 6 Hour, Sept 9-13, but I understand the SVRA is going to decide by next weekend, if they're going forward with it. The Friday night old course reenactment and downtown Grand Prix Festival have already been cancelled, and I don't have much hope for the race either. It's going to be difficult to have a race, if drivers, car owners and crew members from 36 states are required to quarantine for two weeks after arriving in NY.
As of now the Labor Day Historic Festival is still on for Lime Rock, as is the SVRA Vintage and Trans-Am race at Lime Rock, October 16-17. I don't usually attend the Lime Rock vintage races, because the driver I crew for lives less than an hour from there, and often has plenty of local friends willing to come with him. I am considering going to the October SVRA/Trans-Am race though, just because there have been so few races this year. With the cancellation of the IMSA race, I have to think the Lime Rock Historic and SVRA races, may be in jeopardy too.
So far I've only gotten to one race this year, and that was a vintage race at Sebring, way back on the first week in March.
