Looking for a tire/wheel shop in CT that won’t damage my wheels. I have a set of forged wheels on order for my 2019 GS and I’m looking for a shop to dismount my Michelin A/S 3+ tires from my OEM wheels and mount them on the new wheels. I live in central CT and I’m willing to drive a reasonable distance for a good shop. The Corvette Center in Newington doesn’t mount tires so looking for other recommendations.
Thanks for that option. I actually bought my A/S 3’s from Tire Rack. I didn’t realize they would mount wheels purchased from someone else.
Tire Rack also has mobile installers.
Have use mobile installation from tire rack where they came to my house and mounted the new tires. So far the largest diameter have been 21 inch wheels, no issues. I started a thread about this somewhere
Todd did you have the tires mounted yet? Any feedback? I just came on the Forum to post a similar topic. I picked up some ZR1 wheels for my Z06 and need to swap my tires on to the new Wheels. Worried about somebody else jacking up the car in addition to actually swapping the tires over. Let me know how your experience was.

No, because I haven’t received my new wheels yet. I’m expecting them sometime in April.
RT. 10 Tires in Granby CT (not far from Bradley) is really good, family owned place. They mounted the 35 series run flats on my old BMW 335 that I got from Tire Rack with no problems. I’ve done truck tires there too, actually I need to make an appointment to have my truck aligned there. I also know of quite a few people who also swear by them.
FYI for future purposes, Modern Tire in Rocky Hill has Touch free capabilities and can mount up to a 36 inch rim. In the event there is damage they will rectify. Not sure which direction I'm going to go yet but once I get this done I'll report back.

Before and after. Went to Modern tire in Rocky Hill. They did a good job. In fact they came to get me as they were dismounting the old tires from the old rims. They thought they took some paint off, but it was already there. I did not have them dismount and mount on the car. I did that myself out of an overabundance of caution. Car is low and with side skirts etc. I just prefer to do it myself. Cost me $250 for the tire swap over. Didn't care about cost, wanted it done right, without ruining either set of wheels. Would go back for any future needs, no question.
Thanks for the update Z06Corey. That’s good information. Glad you’re happy with the job they did. I’m still patiently waiting for my new wheels to arrive. Hopefully, within the next two weeks.
What are there costs? Have good year tires that loose air like 15lbs over the winter because either they do not lube the bead enough! The Good Year store in Rocky Hill down the street do more damage and i will never go back.Do you know there alignment costs?
