Looking for a project in MD
I posted in the C3 WTB section, but it was also recommended that I post here...
I'm looking for a specific project car in/around the DelMarVa area, but would be willing to shop further out for the right deal.
Not looking for something that I can get on the road by the end of the year. Don't plan for the "first rebuild" to be numbers matching, or any specific color combination. I want to take my time, learn as much as I can about C3s (already have strong mechanical / auto knowledge), and build it exactly as I (we) want. I'm looking for something that I can tear down, rebuild, and learn from. A multi-year project works for me.
The perfect vehicle would be a 1972 Convertible, manual, solid frame and birdcage. The rest is negotiable based on price and how far I have to trailer it to get her back to Maryland.
