Racearama 2003

This isn't a show, though it could be, but a trade show geared towards the racing industry. If you want to get good prices on helmet etc. this would be a good opportunity. I know someone bringing a T1 Corvette to the COMscc booth.
Anyone else going?

My wife and I plan to go on Friday night, this time as spectators. We've shown our 67 the past two years, the first time in main building and last year with the show cars as part of the Mark's Auto Parts display. You have a picture of the car on page 6 of your pictures from last year's show. Hope to see you there.

Thanks, we really enjoy driving them.
We did go to the Racearama tonight. Frankly, we were disappointed in this year's show. We've been there for the last two years and thought it was a good show in past years. Mostly race cars, as the name implies, but also a good sample of cruise night and show cars as well. We always enjoy seeing the modifieds, sprints, midgets and the antique racers. This year though there were many empty spaces in each of the three buildings and you could tell how they tried to spread things out to fill the voids. Candidly, especially for the $15 ticket admission price, I thought it came up well short of being a good show this year. In the show car building, if it hadn't been for the nice cars from the Marks Auto Parts Cruise, they wouldn't have had much of anything worth seeing in that area. Hopefully, next year they can do a better job. For this year I think they should have offered at least a partial refund!

Last year was my first, so I thought it was just "first year shock"
Though the mid-year Corvette with the body suspended above the frame was kinda

Yes, that was one of the more interesting cars in the show car display. That belongs to a friend of ours who has restored quite a few mid-years and it was a nice way to display the chassis along with the body.
